Wayne's photography has been featured in magazines as far ranging as Architectural Digest, Bon Appetit, Esquire, Men's Journal, People and The New York Times. Cable is a frequent contributor to the campaigns of leading agencies and graphic designers. Wayne has photographed celebrities including Jerry Garcia, Michael Jordan, Rahm Emanuel, Jeff Tweedy, Buddy Guy, President William Jefferson Clinton, Henry Kissinger, Peter Fonda, Walter Payton, Ron Santo, Oprah Winfrey, The Pep Boys and Miss Piggy.
Cable's architectural and interiors photography has been commissioned by award winning architects, designers and real estate developers. His photos are featured in magazines round the world---in addition to Digest, Wayne's PHOTOS have graced the covers of Architectural Record, Chicago Magazine, Hospitality Lighting, Interior Design, among others.
Wayne's fine-art and documentary photography has been exhibited at The Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Contemporary Photography, The Carrie Secrist Gallery, and The Museum of Modern Art. Fifteen of Wayne's pieces reside in the permanent collection of The Art Institute of Chicago.
Wayne is on the adjunct faculty in Visual Communications at Triton College.
